Color TPU Film Platform – Materials & Structure
Aigix color TPU films use a multi-layer architecture built on a common TPU base. The self-healing layer, clear TPU layer, color TPU layer and blocking TPU layer are formed together in a single liquid casting step, then paired with a tuned adhesive.
The functional TPU layers are co-cast as one integrated film, minimizing internal stress and delamination risk over temperature cycles.
Casting-Grade TPU Liquid Process
Aigix uses a liquid casting process instead of conventional high-temperature extrusion:
Low-temperature production improves TPU resistance to combined heat and humidity.
Clear, color and blocking layers are co-cast on one TPU base to reduce mismatch and layer splitting.
Nano pigments are dispersed uniformly in TPU for even color and low color shift under forming.
